Questions about using the predefined channelflow command-line programs: simulateflow, findsoln, etc.

I am new to turbulence research and channelflow tool so forgive if the question has an obvious answer/solution that I missed.
I was running simulateflow and set -nu to 0.0005 to get Re=2000. And from what I can gather it seems that this was indeed the value the simulation was running at. However, when I run tools/fieldprops -mcs -bf parabolic flowfield.nc in command-line the output reads “<…> at Re=400”. I was wondering if it can be that tools/fieldprops is using the default value of Reynolds number for some weird reason?
